Phi Alpha Theta recognizes academic excellence in the field of history. It promotes the study of history by: • Encouraging research, teaching, publication, and the exchange of ideas among historians• Bringing students and teachers together for intellectual and social exchanges

• Conducting legal research on case law, statutes, and legal precedents relevant to the cases before the court• Attend court hearings and trials to observe legal proceedings and gain practical insights into the judicial process• Participating in discussion with legal professionals • Analyzing legal issues • Learning and adhering to the professional and ethical standards of the judiciary • Gaining practical experience and exposure to the workings of the legal system

Host/Busser: • Acknowledge guests with an enthusiastic welcome and appreciative good-bye• Positively interact with guests as they enter and ensure proper seating rotation and wait list procedures• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and the restrooms• Complete opening or closing duties and weekly maintenanceService Partner: • Create an amazing dining experience for guests through urgency, connection, and outstanding guest service• Support the servers by running drinks and food to guests• Execute all takeout orders with accuracy• Complete weekly maintenance duties and sidework• Participate in Islands Culture of Respect that promotes inclusion among all employees
