I am a generalist speech pathologist (in-person & telehealth) currently working across the lifespan in the disability space predominantly servicing clients within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) program, as well as in aged care facilities. My current range of clinical expertise includes multimodal communication (augmentative and alternative communication), speech, language, literacy, fluency (stuttering), and dysphagia management (swallowing) within the adult and paediatric populations. Part of my role is also to provide education and training to families, early childhood educators, teachers, nurses, and staff at aged care facilities. Aside from my clinical experiences, I have also worked as a clinical team coordinator which entails a high level of organisation and coordination, time management for myself and the team, as well as attention to detail when it comes to administrative tasks. My work ethic is driven by accountability and integrity, whilst my values are driven by holistic intervention and supporting each individual's autonomy, choice, and control. When I am not doing my day job, I enjoy networking with business owners and entrepreneurs in the areas of financial literacy, people and team management, as well as leadership development.
