As a Technical Strategist with the Buildings and Energy team within the Climate Challenge, I delivered targeted technical support for city policies and programs related to building decarbonization and energy efficiency to four of our participating cities: Portland, OR; San Jose, CA; San Diego, CA; and Honolulu, HI. I also supported project-wide network learning opportunities for all Climate Challenge cities pursuing aggressive buildings- and energy-related policy. The Climate Challenge concluded in June 2022.

In that lab I completed my senior thesis project: Refining the Mesoproterozoic Paleomagnetism of the Congo Craton, Northern Namibia, for which I collected my own samples in the field and conducted my own preparation and research in an effort to reassemble ancient supercontinents. My work was later included in a broader article published in Geology titled "Direct Mesoproterozoic connection of the Congo and Kalahari cratons in proto-Africa: Strange attractors across supercontinental cycles," for which I am listed as a co-author.
