Global Finance Business Partner

Support the CEO and the Leadership team in the active and forward looking steering of the business to meet strategic and financial targets in line with stakeholder's expectations. The global function Business Planning and Reporting comprises the areas of Finance/ Controlling, Risk Management and the involvement in strategic projects.

Ensure that the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations. Measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm’s business. Also ensure that the firm’s activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations, performing controls and financial reporting to help in the safeguarding of the assets.Perform and provide leadership within the monthly closing process which includes monitoring intercompany relationships, general ledger revenue and expense sharing arrangements, funding arrangements among affiliated entities, and proper booking of accruals/provisions and classification of inventory and other balances • Produce quarterly financial information • Assess on a quarterly basis the effectiveness of internal controls and escalates control issues to senior management • Liaise extensively with other areas such as Product Controllers, Funding Controllers, Corporate Treasury, Legal, Tax, Regulatory, Market Risk and Credit Risk on various ad hoc inquiries including new products requests, strategic changes to existing workflows, and transfer pricing initiatives • Perform and provide leadership accurate and fair presentation of stand alone entity financial information and disclosures in accordance local reporting requirements

Conduct and facilitate Aventis Environmental Science post merger integrationCore project team lead for new SAP and Business Warehouse reporting and planning system adoptionActing as a process improvement expert and being responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements for IT systems

Coordinate the logistics of all aspects of the supply chain for B2C activity which consists of :• working with procurement managers and buyers to select products that are in demand and will sell• negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers• planning the best way to get goods from suppliers to distribution centres and retailers• tracking shipments and stock levels using computer software• involvement in brand and marketing planning• working with retailers to make sure they receive their goods on time and in the right condition• looking at ways to improve supply chain networks• monitoring overall performance to make sure targets are met• preparing forecasts and inventories

Determination of a viable project mix that meets the target of the organization for Branded Business· Evaluate the performance of portfolio and various ways for improving it · Analyze the opportunity against the existing portfolio · Collect and report the initial portfolio information · Establish the goals of portfolio · Develop the resource and asset portfolios

Establishing and nurturing of key accounts and new business:• Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business• Implement efficient key account management strategies to maximize client relationship value• Informing other account managers as well as colleagues in the marketing and public relations departments about the wants and needs of clients• Being a "brand ambassador"• Help the company set its strategic direction: report quarterly and annually on customer volume, price points, scheduling of new leads, number and location of client visits and statistics on sales calls and follow-up visits
