I fill the position of Operations Director at Orano Federal Services LLC in charge of the Orano business for North America and international prospects/projects.My responsibilities are all operations support functions including major proposal development, marketing, communications, project controls, contract management, supply chain, risk & opportunities management as well as the Project Management Office I have an experience of +25 years in major nuclear projects, mainly in MOX Fuel Fabrication, Fuel Reprocessing, Enrichment and Nuclear Storage facilities (France, Belgium, US and Uk) as well as Decommissioning and Waste Retrieval activities in France, US and Uk. My skills are an in depth knowledge of all business related functions and also Project Controls related activities such as cost control, planning, estimating, risk & opportunities management, change management and reporting, whether it is on EPCC contracts or major proposal preparation leading to submittal.In these domains, I’m used to manage PMO teams of up to 25 FTE’s for project follow-up or strategic proposal development. I am called as well on a regular basis for programme / budget optimization exercises in order to strengthen or improve project end dates and associated budgets.I also have a thorough knowledge of all Contract Management related activities, either initiation of major contracts, follow-up or close-out including claim management.As such, have knowledge of DOE Federal Acquisition Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, NEC3 contracts, NDA and SL processes and procedures.
