As founding Principal for an Interior Design studio, we provide a range of knowledge and services to aide design professionals, development groups, and PMC’s in all facets of creative/relevant design. We focus on efficiencies, coordination for operations and maintenance, construction/design clash detection, coordination supervision and strategic alliances. I oversaw all design projects related to new development, acquisitions/re-positioning, and major/minor renovations of existing assets. Here, I directed the ‘Design Department’ and all its associated scope. In addition to in-house design projects, I took on the responsibility for third-party design consultants, including interior design, architecture, environmental/branding design, procurement, and signage. I oversaw financial proformas for all new developments and CAPEX projects related to design and FF&E. Highlights in this role included:▸ Playing a key role in completing $1.5B in new development as well as $150M in CAPEX renovations.▸ Directing design consultants through all project phases from initial massing studies, entitlement set, to completion of construction documents and construction administration. ▸ Reducing cost impact and delays of changing designs by working closely with design consultants in early OAC ‘clash detection’ meetings to ensure MEP/structural components were designed to maximize interior efficiency and space.▸ Advocating for operations department to ensure needs and consumers demands were met and exceeded in order to stay ahead of the curve and competition. ▸ Leading efforts to create unique apartment unit floor plans that were tailored for the modern-day tenants and lifestyles, as well as selections of all interior finishes, hardware and appliances. ▸ Collaborating and working effectively with all internal departments from Operations, Asset Management, Development, Construction, Marketing, and Facilities/Maintenance. ▸ Managing BOH design standard requirements and designed initial space/occupancy plans for BOH and front-of-house spaces along with amenity spaces to ensure proper architectural layouts to maximize efficiency and aesthetics.Detailed list of projects available upon request

As co-owner of a global-reaching organization, I contributed to growing staff to 450. I was directly involved with all aspects of design, project development with the client and developer, and contract administration during the construction process. I managed multimillion-dollar renovations and new developments with major, global hotel brands. Hospitality Internvention LLC. Oversees all research, development, implementation and operations of hotel assets. HI identifies and selects hotel assets that are in primary, secondary and tertiary markets, which due to a multiple of reasons, have fallen into distress and/or foreclosure. Utlilizing HI’s property filtering and facility auditing system, HI determines the optimum turn-around potential and will then proceed to secure the property for either acquisition or management.; Design and analyze recovered assets to devise conversion and property improvement plans. Identify feasible renovation strategies, rebranding initiatives, and assure that properties are brought up to standard to guarantee profitability and successful turnover. Founded company to locate distressed hotel assets and revamp and repackage them for new investors.
