• Worked onsite with a team to successfully build a 34.5Kv – 345Kv Substation that interconnected with a 252 MWAC solar farm and 100MW/100MWh Battery Energy Storage System.• Coordinated the substation build from civil, foundations, structural, and electrical to commissioning.• Cross-trained in PV and routinely covered the responsibilities of the Solar Field Engineer.• Using Excel, I tracked the substation’s budget broken into 65 F&I codes.• Ran a bi-weekly Cost to Complete meeting and moved money to fix any miscoded labor or material.• Ran weekly engineering calls to coordinate the commissioning of the substation with Engie, Oncore (transmission), RESA (functional testing), NEI (Relay and Scada), Lon Optics, G&W, and Kohler.• When issues arose, I submitted Root Cause Analyses that were later turned into formal lessons learned and developed cost-effective countermeasures.• Reviewed blueprints and advised the Engineer Of Record during the design phase of the project.• Submitted design changes that reduced material and labor waste, effectively adding $119,000 to the project’s bottom line.• Interpreted the drawings to create material take-offs; ordered and tracked over 600 different parts till they were installed and audited; reviewed and approved substitute parts to prevent supply chain delays.• Coordinated and approved all quality documentation for job books.• Technically advised a crew of 15 electricians and performed daily quality&safety audits.• Managed 9 subcontractors from the bid phase to the final walk down

• Worked with a team to construct a 330 MW Solar Farm.• Efficiently tracked production, tracked materials, and ordered supplies when necessary. • Coordinated and directed Terracons Nuclear Density Gauge technicians to complete 230 trench compaction tests.• Sourced concrete from a local batch plant and directed the installation of two Met station foundations.• Worked with crews in the field and learned to provide input and technical expertise for every foreman’s crew: Cable Trenching, Wire Management, AC and DC termination, CAB cable management, Drive Lines, and Owner Walk Downs.

As a Teaching Assistant for Electrical Engineering Lab, I taught Junior and Senior level mechanical engineers the fundamentals of electrical engineering. Duties as a lab instructor included proctoring labs, grading lab reports, and helping fellow TAs. To improve students' learning experience, I rewrote 5/10 lab manuals for clarity, conciseness, and conceptual understanding. NDSU has a Hiflex teaching model that allows students to participate in person or online. During the pandemic, I used Premiere Pro to create three online labs.

Under the direction of NDSU's Dr. Qifeng Zhang, I created an LLZO and doped LLZTO solid-state electrolyte ( spring 2019 ) and submitted a proposal for researching, "A complex hydride lithium superionic conductor" ( fall 2019). In our research group, we have weekly presentations and create PowerPoints to discuss plans, progress, and setbacks.
