Fujairah Power Company F3 is a 2.4GW gas-fired combined-cycle power plant being developed in Fujairah, UAE. It is being developed as an integrated power producer (IPP) project by a consortium formed by Mubadala, TAQA and Japan’s Marubeni Corporation. The project is under construction phase and once completed, it will be UAE’s biggest independent thermal power plant.Nominated by the local shareholders (Mubadala and TAQA) and reporting to the CEO (Executive Managing Director), I am responsible for all finance activities.

Abu Dhabi

From 2015 to early 2021: as Mubadala Secondee, working as CFO of SMN Power Holding SAOG, a listed Power and Water Company in Oman jointly founded by Mubadala and ENGIE. Responsible for all finance and administrative activities within the Company, ranging from financial reporting, business planning, tax management and financing to administration and human resources. From 2010 to 2014: SVP Financial Planning and Business Performance of the Aerospace Business Unit at Mubadala Corporate Office (Abu Dhabi).

Provided financial leadership to the Isle of Wight self-contained business (1000 employees, £180m turnover) as a member of the local senior management team, bid team and lean steering committee.Reporting to the Site CEO and to the CFO Aerostructures Europe.Managing a Finance Department (15 Staff) assisted by 5 qualified accountants.

Transferred to the UK (Expat package) to reorganise the planning & reporting team :- Recruitment & training of three qualified accountants (CIMA)- Review of the planning & reporting processes in line with Head Office best practices- Review of management & statutary reporting- Coordination of the Safran Internal Audit - Support the Business Units financial follow-up of the UK activities

Cross-organisational role in order to provide BU Management with financial visibility :1. Business Unit reporting :- Budget/MTP/Monthly reporting and consolidation in connection with Site and Function controllers- Variances analysis, risks & opportunities follow-up2. Programs financial monitoring and support to Program Directors :- Business plans follow-up from Bid Phase to Entry into Service- Cost reduction activities for programs in-service (Should cost vs Standard cost)3. Participate to harmonization projects :Business modelling, Transfer pricing policy, Engineering Load/capacity analysis, Finance focal point for a Integrated program management tool (EPMS).

Within the GM/Ford Customer Division (reporting to Germany) :As Program Core Team Member, in charge of financial aspects in order to monitor, assess and support the optimization of the programs' profitability and cash - Validate each gate (program phase) at economic level- Collect relevant data and issue of the Initial Business Plan (BP) simulations - Consolidation of sub-business plans (component & customer divisions)- Program monitoring by keeping the BP up to date throughout the program's life- Analyze capital requirement and investment requests- Review all contract drafts- Participate in profitability and cash improvement actions (make-or-buy decisions, cost reduction activities, design to cost)- Contribute to the Budget and the Medium Term Plan (MTP) processes- Serial life : BP handover to Plant Controller + Identify and explain the main differences between the Initial BP and the Start of Production (SOP)+6 months situation
