Olle Haglund Nilsson is a CAE Engineer at AFRY. Colleagues describe her as "Olle did an internship within my team at SKF during the summer of 2021. My team is responsible for developing an in-house multi-body simulation tool called BEAST (BEAring Simulation Tool). Olle's task was to migrate our bearing component library to a new topology/geometry system. This work involved 3D modelling (mainly of bearing cages), Python scripting, "debugging" of geometry errors for some of our more complicated bodies, and also taking part in design discussions for the continuously developed topology system. For the latter task, Olle was well-positioned to contribute, his work being situated at the forefront of the capabilities of this actively developed system. During his internship, Olle was able to quickly familiarize himself with complex systems and tools. Using these, he was able to make great progress with the aforementioned migration process, thus providing a tremendous service to our team."
