Ollie is an independent non-executive director of various investment funds and financial services entities and previously an executive director of investment funds and management companies in Ireland, Luxembourg and the Channel Islands. He is also the founder of CFO Advisory, providing expert financial advice to clients in the start-up, technology, fintech, fund management and SME sectors.Ollie has experience in a broad range of investment strategies including, UCITS, alternatives, equities, fixed income, ETFs, money market funds, private asets, life settlements and loan origination. Ollie has a deep understanding of the funds industry at a commercial, regulatory and governance level and has built up an extensive network of contacts. In his capacity as a director he has provided leadership on strategy, governance, operations and risk management. He has been approved by the Central Bank of Ireland for PCF roles 1,2 and 11.Ollie previously held various executive finance positions with Invesco, a leading global asset manager, at a regional and global level where he also served on multiple boards and executive committee’s including the EMEA Cross Border Product Range Executive Committee. He was a regional Finance Director and led global transformation and automation programmes and has extensive experience building, presenting and overseeing investment proposals relating to new products, projects and business cases.Ollie is an experienced CFO and is advising companies in a number of important areas;• Asset Management – independent review of finance function, capital reporting, compliance with designated person responsibilities, automation• Fintech – establishment and strategy, regulation, capital reporting, finance processes• Tech/Start-up – fundraising, EIIS, accounting service providers, strategy, business and financial planning and navigating state and other supportsOllie is a qualified chartered certified accountant, holds a Professional Diploma in Applied Alternative Investments from the Institute of Banking and is a member of the Irish Fund Director’s Association (IFDA), the Institute of Banking (IoB) and the Halo Business Angels Network (HBAN). He is also passionate about making a broader contribution to society and has served as director and Chairman of the Asthma Society of Ireland, a national charity.
