My role at The Fred Hollows Foundation focused on two key elements of partnerships: community fundraising events and corporate partnerships. Community Fundraising Events • Raised $2.2m through a virtual fundraising event Fred’s Big Run in its second year in market. Exceeded fundraising target by 10%.• Fundraised $600k through Quick as Thieves, a running event in its second year in market.• Liaised with corporate teams and sourced incentives to maximise fundraising.• Worked with individuals and collected participant stories with our media team to maximise exposure. • Acquired high profile contestants to help increase exposure and support of the event. • Developed strategy document for Community Fundraising with a guide to fundraising.• Supported the set up a new physical fundraising event, Sydney Harbour Hike, working with stakeholders to coordinate logistics, promotions, and website development.
