I am a community dance artist with a background in creative project management, responsible business and filmmaking. I teach creative movement in early years settings and primary schools, get families dancing together, help older adults improve their balance and mobility in a fun way, and enable people from all walks of life to reconnect with their bodies and discover the joys of creative, active movement. I believe that dance can benefit everyone's health and happiness, regardless of age, ability or circumstance. My focus is on structured improvisation rather than technique, embracing every individual's right to explore, make and move.As we all emerge tentatively from months of isolation, I am looking for ideas and collaborations that will help communities to connect and keep dancing. I am currently completing a part time post-grad in Community Dance at Trinity Laban, having spent my childrearing years channeling energy into arts projects that have a direct and positive impact on society.
Listed skills include Film Production, Post Production, Video Production, Event, and 11 others.
