I am a driven human movement scientist with special interests in biomechanics and motion data. I completed my Master of Science in Sport Science (cum laude) in running biomechanics and gained substantial experience using up-to-date motion capture technologies. Additionally, learning how to use specific programs such as MATLAB and Python has been highly beneficial and helped improve my skills in data analysis and management of large data sets. I completed a Master of Engineering Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a specific focus on computational biomechanics of the neck musculature and the influence on head kinematics and injury risk. I am currently working for the Central Analytical Facility at Stellenbosch University as the managing analyst for the Neuromechanics Unit.
