Outside work, me and a group of inspiring people set out to change the negative debate in Sweden where politics focus on problems and have a lack of visionary leadership. We wanted to inspire people to pursuit there dreams about their life and careers as well as their dreams about what society they wanted to live in. We found out that people almost never discuss their dreams with others even if they feel a great urge to do so. Therefore we started to arrange meatings were strangers met to discuss their dreams, how they could acchieve them and also help others acchieve their dreams.– Learned how to manage a large group of people with different goals and ambitions.– Learned how to create a vision for a non-profit organization.– Learned what it means to lecture before 500 + people.

I grew up on the small island of Marstrand on the swedish westcoast. At the moment a lot of people are moving to the bigger cities in the area and young people don't think Marstrand has a future anymore.So with the help of some friends I wanted to change this.Our goal was to show young people in Marstrand that we all could have fun and do something creative that would inspire and engage people in Marstrand. We arranged four theater performances during two days. My role was to lead almost every part of the nonprofit project.Some of the tasks i was responsible for:– Raising money from the EU and being the contact person for the authoroties. We raised 20 000 SEK.– Writing story and script.– Project leading 15 actors and making sure the knew their parts.– Managing the budget of the project.– PR. Local newspapers wrote about Ringskärs teater and we gained a lot of attention in social media.We held four performances for a total of 400 people.
