Olowo John Ayanfe is an amiable young leader with inestimable visions, aiming to improve food security, rural development, increase smallholder farmer’s productivity, and youth active participation in agriculture. He started his leadership career during his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to his nation serving as the community development service coordinator (CDSc), he carried out several developmental projects across education, entrepreneurship, agribusiness and rural development.He is a Sustainable Agriculture Practice expert with over three Years’ experience in Irrigation systems, water management, and Agribusiness Development, a trained trainer under Christian Development Foundation U.S NGO in Partnership with Jedidiah Empowerment and Leadership Foundation, and a trained irrigation Expert under German Consulate sponsored Entrepreneurship program. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Kogi State University, and a Professional Certificates in Management, along with certificates in Entrepreneurship, Modern Sustainable Agriculture, Climate Smart Agriculture, Leadership, and Agritech. John has successfully installed and Managed Irrigation system for smallholder farmers in over 47 farms across Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Benin, Kebbi, and Nassarawa in Nigeria covering about 40 Hectares of Land.He is a contributor to Enterprise Development Center (EDC) online agribusiness course development, He is a FATE Foundation Fellow, Savvy Fellow, My Farm Base fellow, volunteer Trainer at Jedidiah Empowerment and Leadership Foundation, Project Director for Global Youth Network Nigeria (GYN), member of Youths for New Nigeria (YNN), Co-founder Institute of Young African Leaders, Co-founder EAT Foundation and CEO Ohrich farms Africa Limited.He has bagged various awards and recognition some of which includes 1st Prize Award winner for the 2020 FATE Foundation Agribusiness Pitch Competition sponsored by Mitsubishi, Outstanding Community Development Service Coordinator (NYSC), and TOP 1000 Selected for the 2020 Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE) amongst other recognition.
