Our team rebuilt a data warehouse for one of the largest car-makers in the world to reflect a changed system landscape. In addition, we implemented an MIS for calculating accruals for risks in used car sales, enabling the automotive to forecast better components to be built into leasing cars to increase revenues gained in the used car market after the vehicles are returned. This project had a significant impact on the business unit's turnover and was delivered ahead of time and budget.I also led a successful Salesforce.com CRM project from analysis to deployment in another engagement and managed maintenance work of a legacy reporting system at a major client in the automotive sector; work included dealing with customer requirements and managing remote developers.

Involved in two critical client projects. The first one was the maintenance of a strategic MIS for one of the largest car-makers in the world. Their old solution was not built for this purpose, which caused delays in information delivery and, therefore, delayed necessary business decisions. As part of my research, we distributed a sophisticated neural network on MPP clusters to perform classification tasks on unstructured data. My work included setting up and monitoring the experiments, feature extraction, and developing the distributed code. I was responsible for building a central data warehouse for text processing and preparation to support our experiments. I mentored and taught fellow research assistants various techniques, such as Support Vector Machines, text processing, and text classification. The results of our research were published in a top-tier academic journal.
