Lead, implement and support strategic initiatives relating to the operational functions impacting all teams within Sourcing and Supplier Management. Coordinated and led shut down of medical third party vendors. Served as the liaison between strategic sourcing, information security, legal and small business development and wellness business areas; providing oversight on required due diligence for new and existing vendor relationships. Researched and provided resolution and applicable notification for potential HIPAA privacy breach situations.• Collaborated and facilitated the development of the medical third party vendor tracking database to document and manage 150 plus contract relationships (physician, provider, and specialty providers) to ensure contracts were terminated appropriately to avoid unnecessary fees, penalties and legal ramifications as part of the health division exit project. Database included vendor specific data such as contract term provisions, services provided, data shared, web and system impacts. • Developed and maintained a database used to identify, clean-up, and track approximately 200,000 public folders (share drive and outlook) to ensure folders where retained based on corporate retention guidelines and retention categories were appropriately assigned for future data destruction.• Created and implemented an online toolkit to assist vendor relationship managers with the management of new and existing relationships. Use of the toolkit increased relationship managers’ productivity and reduced processing time by creating a centralized location for vendor management guidelines, forms and procedures.

Managed and responsible for the oversight of the National Ancillary vendor relationships (specialty services such as dialysis, wound care, labs, vision, etc); ensuring contract terms and provisions met our strategic initiatives and our members’ needs. Led and facilitated resolution of day to day operational issues, complex claim disputes and contract discrepancies. • Implemented a streamlined process for contract negotiation and amendments of existing contracts that resulted in a net fee reduction of approximately 8%.• Oversaw the management of a key strategic medical vendor ensuring monthly fees and discounts were charged appropriately, service level agreements were met and reimbursements were received in a timely manner. • Managed and implemented new ancillary relationships that provided our members discounts for specialty services and reduced claim costs for Principal through fee negotiation with vendors. Managed a team of 4 Assistant Managers with teams of 12 – 15 Personal Bankers responsible for selling and servicing Principal Bank retail deposit and loan products and services in a contact center environment. Transitioned to Deposit Operations Manager responsible for the leadership of 6 deposit operations account representatives who handled opening new deposit accounts and account maintenance (address changes) for existing accounts. • Launched the 24 hour Personal Banking Contact Center for Principal Bank. Included: recruiting, scheduling, budget, training, and IVR call routing script.• Implemented a new account opening application for deposit products the provided an automated review process eliminating manual review on applications received. • Created a training manual and process documentation work flow diagrams for Deposit Operations staff that fostered consistent processes, reduced errors and increased productivity; facilitated classroom training to staff.
