At COOP I provided therapy to a small caseload of clients, supported the general needs of two cohorts, and facilitated a series of workshops. I also led the interns in redeveloping COOP's workshop curriculum, where we created a new workshop, "Social Identities and Racism in the Workplace". I also created a workshop on my own, "Endings and New Beginnings".

I provided individual and group counseling to young adults (17-21 years old) to address barriers to attendance and assist with post-grad planning. I planned and facilitated a series of groups, workshops, and communities of practice for staff and students. In Fall 2018, I was accepted into the inaugural cohort of the Jean Goldberg Thomases Leadership Development Institute.

Alongside the PI, Katharine Hill (PhD, LISW), I studied the effect of adoption on older youth's education and assisted with the preliminary research needs of the project - learning about the proposal process, conducting a literature review of recent research, and assisting in creating an online survey instrument.

Alongside PI, Ande Nesmith (PhD, LISW), and two other research assistants, I studied the effectiveness of a transitions program for older youth in foster care. The study was longitudinal and mixed-methods. I joined as an assistant after the data was collected and assisted with analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. I presented the findings of the research at two poster sessions - one at the NASW - MN 2015 annual conference and one at the University of St. Thomas.
