About Olu Bolumole

I am a senior financial services leader with more than 20 years’ international experience working in asset management, investment banking and capital market infrastructure (Exchanges). I have a proven track record of leading consistent revenue growth, managing key relationships and achieving success across multiple income streams. Additionally, I have extensive knowledge of executing transformative initiatives, building businesses, and developing high-performing teams.I am currently the Divisional Head for the Listings Business at the Nigerian Exchange, which I joined in 2019 with a remit to drive growth and bring a harder commercial edge: my tenure has seen considerable success with more than $15BN of listings in under three years. I have launched new products to diversify the product offering and built capacity in capital market players through NGX’s award-winning training and capacity building platform, X-Academy. I am especially proud of the key role I played in the demutualisation and listing of the Exchange in 2021, which has enabled further growth as well as notable listings recorded in the telecoms sector.Between 2012 and 2019, I worked for FBN Holdings, ending my time as de facto CEO with responsibility for a full-service investment banking business with revenue lines across proprietary investments and structured products. I built the fixed income and FX sales functions from scratch, led a huge growth in turnover across multiple business lines and, most importantly, demonstrated my ability to increase revenue in every part of the market cycle.Throughout my career, I have shown great adaptability, working in both London and the frontier markets of Africa, and I have continually outperformed, even in very difficult market circumstances. I always prioritise the establishment of a high-performing team and the best systems and processes to make success repeatable.I am happy to connect with other professionals with similar interests. Please feel free to message me via LinkedIn.
