VP for the global International Development business unit at DHI consisting of 55 persons located across the globe. The business unit is responsible for all donor and development activities within water resources, urban and marine sectors and our clients consists of development banks, development agencies, funding organizations, NGOs and public authorities in developing countries. The DHI strategy is to be recognised as a trusted advisor & exceptional service provider for strategic UN divisions, global and regional development organisations (e.g. World Bank, ADB, IADB etc), and large NGOs/Climate Fund execution agencies. We will be a leading development consultant supporting sustainable development though integrated and sustainable water resources management, state-of-the-art Decision Support Tools , impact assessment, urban and rural resilience, sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy, nature-based-solutions for risk reduction, and capacity building/risk literacy for operational management and long-term planning.

Head of Department for water resources at DHI. The department consist of 35 experts within water resources covering fields as numerical modelling (hydrology, hydraulic and groundwater), early warning systems, flood mapping, basin planning, water quality etc. We are mainly working on donor funded projects (WB, ADB, GCF and UNEP) in Africa and Asia and have considerable experience in winning and implementing large multidisciplinary projects related to water resources planning and early warning with our team of modelling and IT experts.

Project manager for GEF funded Flood & Drought management tools project (2014 to 2018) aiming at developing tools assisting decision makers in river basins with respect to inclusion of flood, drought and climate related issues into existing planning methods 8IWRM and TDA/SAP). Extensive stakeholder consultations and collaboration within the Volta basin (Ghana and Burkina Faso), Lake Victoria basin (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda) and Chao Phraya in Thailand. Senior hydrologist. Working with integrated hydrological modeling systems in Denmark and internationally. Experience from wetland applications, water resource studies, large scale catchment modeling and climate projections. Developing web-based systems for execution and viewing of model results using the internet. Experience from mining projects, and the impact studies from mining operations.Project manager and team leader with more than 18 years of national and international experience. Experience from donor and privately funded projects within water resource management and planning, climate change adaptation, drought or flood related issues.Experience with management of projects and teams from a large number of international projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America, dealing with various aspects of water resources management and planning. Technical knowledge within areas of water management, climate change adaptation, use of satellite based information, integrated surface water-groundwater modelling, and environmental impact assessment.Experience with development of decision support systems for planning at basin and local level in both Europe, Africa and Asia.
