Olukemi Olugbade is a visionary leader whose global experience spans Africa, Europe, and North America. Throughout her career, she has successfully bridged the gap between business innovation and community empowerment, using her expertise to address complex societal challenges while building sustainable, inclusive solutions. Her passion for empowering underserved communities has driven her work, particularly in nurturing the next generation of women, youth leaders and entrepreneurs.A trained accountant, Mrs. Olugbade began her more than two-decade-long career in venture capital, holding progressive roles that allowed her to build expertise in financial strategy and leadership. While located in Europe, she expanded her global expertise by earning an MBA from the Amsterdam Business School, Universiteit van Amsterdam after her role at Shell Global Solutions BV. Her experience in Europe, combined with her academic achievements, further strengthened her ability to drive impactful change through business solutions.In 2011 Mrs. Olugbade, driven by her commitment to community empowerment, she co-founded iBusiness Series - T-Oak Soteria, a nonprofit in Nigeria that has empowered hundreds of women and youths with entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy. After the success of iBusiness Series, her journey eventually brought her to Canada, where she earned her second master's degree in Community Engagement from the University of Alberta. This combination of education and experience led her to Canadian Imperial Advantage (CIA), where she serves as the program administrator for the Youth Entrepreneurship Mentorship Program (YEMP). In this role, Mrs. Olugbade combines her business acumen with her deep commitment to empowering the next generation of youth leaders, with a goal of supporting 1,000 young entrepreneurs through business innovation and positive social change.
