Olumide is an eLearning developer, developing top-notch learning experiences for different organizations. He is also an experienced tech trainer and agile / business analysis coach overseeing IT training at UK academic levels 4 and 5 for programs of the British Computer Society (otherwise known as BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT) at Twim Institute, a BCS partner centre which he founded and head, in Nigeria. He has designed, implemented and managed edtech learning programs and products used by thousands of people, and is known for his ability to simplify complex concepts.Olumide has an MBA from the University of Sao Paulo, an MSc in Smart EdTech, Co-creativity and Technology-Enhanced Learning from Universite Cote d'Azur, France. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the National Open University of Nigeria, and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. After his bachelor's degree, Olumide completed his national youth service in Osun State, Nigeria, where he received state-level special commendation for "exceptional services". Thereafter, he moved to India to develop his skills in the media and creative arts, and also gain certifications in IT. While in India in 2012, Olumide realized that India's vocational education model was effective in tackling unemployment, and decided to adapt the model to Nigeria. He returned to Nigeria and founded Twim Academy, which would later become Twim Institute, in 2013. Twim Academy was listed by New York Forum Africa as one of the 50 most innovative startups in Africa in 2015.Olumide has received several honours and awards. In 2015, he was selected as a MasterCard Foundation / Ashoka "Innovations for Youth Employment in Africa" winner. He was also a national finalist for the Future Awards / Ford Foundation Prize for Youth Employment. Between 2015 and 2017, he was an Akoma Amplify Storytelling Fellow, "Education Challenge Fellow" at the DO School in Berlin, helping Siemens Stiftung strategize their approach to scaling a STEM educational product targeted at African schools. Olumide was also a Leap Africa Social Innovation Fellow and the 2018 winner of Leap Africa's Dr. Pamela Hartigan Prize for Social Innovation award.
