• To lead a packaging operational team in order to meet production performance targets.• Manage the equipment and lead the team on the packing line during shift according to best operating practices whilst ensuring safe working practices are adhered to.• To make minor adjustments to machinery to maintain line efficiencies and quality requirements.• Stop any machine on the line should a serious malfunction occur or that safety is being compromised. If the stoppage is longer than 30 minutes, the Team Leader must inform the Unit Manager (Or Packaging Manager) of the problem.• Summon assistance in the event of a malfunction being beyond his team’s scope of authority to repair or resolve.• Maintain housekeeping standards in his area of operation.
