Incorporating my knowledge and experiences from past jobs, I was responsible for the safety of and creating engaging lesson plans with activities and assessments for a minimum of twenty-one children of differing needs and learning styles, simultaneously mentoring two assistant teachers for three sessions. I was responsible for consistently ensuring that the “whole child” was taught- especially focusing on positive self-perception, creativity and empathy.I’ve taught all subjects independently and also co-taught Kindergarten to Grade 2 using the Common Core, NGSS and TEKS fluently.I trained the bulletin board display coordinator of the school for two years until a proper team was set up. I organized teams to run whole school programs such as Children’s Day Activities and Nigeria’s Independence Day Scavenger Hunts. I also assisted in the school wide plays and periodic performances in whatever roles I could including Play/Production Coordinator and prompter.

I was responsible for developing activities, lessons, centers and workbooks that built every learner with the philosophy that “every child can learn”. I kept scrupulous records on every child’s behavior and development focusing on meeting their varied needs and ensuring that at all times, they felt safe and loved. I met with parents periodically to discuss their children and targets based on our combined observations.I also contributed to school wide events and pursuits with enthusiasm.

I was responsible for developing activities and lessons that kept learners engaged and promoted curiosity in keeping with the school’s philosophy. I was also responsible for training Teaching Assistants in line with the curriculum. I kept extensive records on children’s behavior and development focusing on safety and emotional needs. I was also responsible for parent-teacher conferences to discuss growth and targets of the children entrusted to my care.I also contributed to school wide events and pursuits with as much as possible.

I was responsible for organizing events, the coordination of travel arrangements for staff and students, implementing cost reduction in areas deemed necessary, improving the quality and efficiency of reporting procedures and working with staff to expose them to educational opportunities and growth prospects, suitable to their knowledge/experiences/targets as set by the Head of Schools. I was also responsible for receiving guests/prospective parents or business partners for the school (physically or via communications), taking them on tours and working with them to meet their needs.I was also required to work in the classroom and function as a homeroom teacher with children focusing on reading and critical thinking as well as socio-emotional safety and health.

As a clerk, I was trained to take stock of the company’s assets, keep meticulous records of goods in storage, arrange schedules for consultancy meetings and handle all arrangements as a result of such meetings. This included maintaining executive calendars, meeting agendas, meeting minutes and their distribution as well as preparing documents required for the meetings. I was also responsible for efficient and user-friendly documentation retrieval (pare and e-copies).
