Oluwaseun Muraina is a Qualified Real Estate Surveyor, Lecturer, Researcher, and Sustainable & Infrastructure Finance expert with over eight (8) years of collective (industry, teaching, research, and community development) work experience. Her core work concerns developing and implementing financial strategies for sustainable real estate and infrastructure developments that are resilient to climate change impacts. Where she has been responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, developing financial models, and designing risk management, her work interfaces areas of Sustainable Housing/Infrastructure Development & Financing, Urban Regeneration, Neighborhood and Community Resilience, Housing Economics, Real Estate Investment Appraisal, and Valuation, and Climate Adaptability issues. Oluwaseun is a published author and a member of various research networks, including the African Cities Research Consortium (ACRC), the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA), the Inter-Campus Alliance for Sustainable Cities (ICASC), and the Research and Innovation on Adapting to Climate Changes (AIRACC). She has worked on different transdisciplinary projects with various communities, researchers, the media, civil society organisations, government actors, and think tanks. Her research output has been presented at international conferences in Europe and Africa, and journal articles have been published in top-tier/peer-reviewed journals.Oluwaseun earned an MSc in Real Estate Finance with Distinction from Henley Business School, University of Reading, in 2020. She was one of six recipients of the RREF & AfRES Scholarship, covering full tuition. Her resilience, dedication, and academic excellence reflect her hardworking, self-motivated, and results-oriented nature. She consistently demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and push intellectual boundaries.She graduated at the top of her BSc Estate Management class at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and she also excelled in her MSc Estate Management course at the same University. Therefore, she was appointed a full-time Lectureship at the Department of Estate Management, University of Lagos.She has extensive experience in the built environment, focusing on diverse research methodologies and possesses strong knowledge in valuation, development, appraisals, financial modeling, and real estate finance.
