The student sports festival SLBC 2022 gathered 2 550 students from all over Norway in October 2022, making it the biggest student sports festival in history in Norway. With 25 different sports, the festival was also the biggest multisport event in Norway in 2022. In addition to the sports, the festival included various cultural events such as a spectacular opening ceremony, a revue, and finally a banquet for all competitors.The organization consisted of 600 volunteers working several hours each in order to make the event possible. The organization was run by a board of eight people. One leader and seven section managers responsible for each of the following sections: Marketing, information & HR, finances, external affairs, events, culture, and logistics.

Africa Greentec (AGT) is a social enterprise which empowers people in Sub-Saharan Africa through sustainable energy solutions. AGT is developing and operating mini-grid systems providing photovoltaic electricity. In my role as Finance Intern, I worked on AGT’s market entry to Madagascar, in addition to preparation of investor proposals. I acquired valuable experience about how cultural differences affect a workplace, both externally and internally.
