As Program Director, I served as the face of a 165-student sailing program. I hired and supervised 5 full-time staff, 2 part-time staff, and 16 "junior instructors." I scheduled employee shifts and classes for 165 students, ages 7-17, of all sailing abilities. I created lesson plans and ensured that all students were receiving equal attention and education, and sent all parents bi-weekly updates of class progress. I was the liaison between parents and staff. I spearheaded the maintenance of seven outboard motor boats and four Hunter 140 sail boats. In addition, I organized and ran two Cape-wide junior regattas. I tracked and managed all student medical and contact information, and was the individual responsible with on-site medical treatment should any issue arise. Lastly, I managed direct spending and kept the yacht club in working order with all necessary working equipment.
