Container InstancesOracle Cloud’s serverless compute service used by prominent customers for running containers on scalable and cost effective managed serverless infrastructure.• Designed the Service Control Plane to facilitate ARM based Bare-Metals with a compatible hypervisor-image capable of hosting AArch64 based Container Instances. Executed the ARM Bare-Metal provisioning for customer onboarding across multiple cross geography datacenters.• Migrated Hypervisor-OS on Bare-Metal fleets across multiple OCI datacenters supporting the service. 100% of existing customer workloads were migrated to a new Bare-Metal hosts with 10-minute p99 downtime.Designed Fleet Management Control Plane components to introduce automation, making the service capable of handling such large-scale customer migration in the future.• Implemented key features making the service compatible for K8 features. Worked on the functionality of generating CPU & Memory usage metrics of containers and publishing them to OCI Monitoring, which could be used by custom AutoScalers or K8 HPA. Implemented support for graceful shutdown of container workloads similar to K8 pods. • Facilitated provisioning of new x86 based fleet in limited Datacenters which promises about 33% better performance per core for container workloads. Performed benchmark tests to verify expected performance enhancements of customer workloads on the new Bare-Metal host with x86 based Hypervisor-OS.• Worked on internal automation to handle resource state anomalies, saving more than half of the manual operational efforts. Handled multiple operational incidents and investigated them to enhance service resilience & prevent potential large-scale impacts. Developed an internal dashboard using React & created Grafana Dashboards enhancing service operability & visibility.

• Developed company-wide people and task management system; designed a web-based frontend using React and a backend application on Node.js. Used SQL & No-SQL databases; created REST APIs/WebSockets and used multiple cloud services. • Served as the technical lead for client projects; researched varied tech stacks, did code reviews & implemented critical features.

OCI Service Mesh Oracle managed Service Mesh solution simplifying development of cloud native applications.• Developed a microservices based demo application exhibiting the features of the service, taking reference from the BookInfo Application which showcases Istio’s feature.• Developed the Cloud-Console Ul using React on an internal SSR toolchain, which was used by both internal and external customers to manage Service-Mesh resources.• Coded unit tests for the Control Plane using Junit and Mockito enhancing the code coverage from 50% to 90%
