• Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.• Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.• Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier referencing study.• Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.• Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.• Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.• Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.• Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.• Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.• Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.• Train team on effective procurement processes and strategy.• Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement.

• Review and approve subcontractors’ invoices for accuracy and conformance with progress.• Evaluate subcontractor cost proposals and the provision of claim analysis, participates in change order negotiations, and the preparation of independent cost estimates for comparison with project budget.• Produce all cost reports required by the Engineering Director.• Perform a variety of cost engineering functions encompassing estimating, cost control, budget preparations, forecasting, and cost reporting while working under limited supervision.• Perform key role in managing, estimating and forecasting financial risks according to contracts terms.• Evaluate cost impacts for recovery plans and the tracking of project costs to contracts closeout.

• Review drawings for correctness and clarity of information and take necessary action to ensure sufficient information is available, Monitor and ensure that only current / latest revisions of Issued for Construction drawings are being used, and withdraw all superseded drawings from site.• Carry out the specified inspection / test in accordance with relevant Inspection / Test Plans, and ensure that Quality Records are maintained.• Monitor progress of work against Construction programs and submission of required site reports in accordance with Project Reporting Plan.• Ensure that only approved materials are used.• Maintain at all-time site diary, recording daily site activities and any circumstances that have adverse effect on the Project• Ensure that safety procedures are implemented on site and report any risks to Project Manager.
