Muscle-Controlled Bionic Arm (Design and Control of a Bionic Arm using Machine Learning Algorithms): The graduation project aims for a bionic arm designed for two different cases of arm amputees (hand and whole arm amputees). The bionic arm can help patients in daily life activities through its multiple degrees of motion, it is controlled easily by brain signals without the need of any surgeries. The bionic arm also makes users feel the surrounding environments through sensors embedded in the arm. The project is divided into two parts (hand and elbow). The hand can be implemented separately to hand amputees. Each part has its own controller and suitable sensors to read brain signals and through modular integration, the two parts work together as one unit. By using microcontrollers (STM32 Blue Pill), machine learning, optimized mechanical & electrical designs and accurate sensor measurements techniques (reached accuracy of 98%), the Bionic Arm team aims to make this project easy & satisfying to use, has high accuracy & quality and cost-effective.
