I hold a PhD in management obtained from Auckland University of Technology (AUT). My PhD thesis, "Conceptualizing and Measuring Employee engagement, and Examining the Antecedents of Leadership Styles and Personality Attributes", aimed at developing a reliable and valid measure of employee engagement, and examining the key factors expected to enhance employees’ levels of engagement at the work place. During my teaching experience at Auckland University of Technology and Emirates College of Technology, I taught several papers related to HRM and business management (e.g. HRM papers, Business Organization and Management, Organizational Behaviour, Service Marketing, Professional Ethics). My current interest and expertise are in assessing organizations to measure and build employee engagement via implementing precisely tailored engagement interventions.
