Working as part of the Structural Embedments Team to ensure a proper embedment plate is chosen and placed for every attaching commodity in the AP1000 Nuclear Powerplant.

Worked in conjunction with the New York City Rapid Repairs Program to ensure hot water and heating units were accounted for and properly installed for Staten Island residents affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Assist the Chief Structural Engineer on various projects related to the evaluation of wind effects and decay of construction materials. Perform drawings, calculations and forensic investigations. Utilize problem solving and research skills.- Perform forensic investigation for various sites including Carroll Street building collapse; Support investigations with beam analysis- Conducted a research project on difference between LRFD and ASD design methods for steel and concrete; Created C++ program to design steel and concrete member given inputted dead and live loads- Performed a structural analysis of the Astro Tower in Coney Island using SAP2000. This included following ASCE 7-05 and DOB codes for wind loadings; analyzed stress at the base of the tower and deflection at the top of the tower- Assisted the Chief Structural Engineer to enhance his illustrated glossary of visual conditions of facades, which is posted on the DOB website; created drawings using TurboCAD- Executed a RISA-3D program model of a masonry façade, calculating the stresses and deflection of the wall due to wind loading and self weight. Material properties of the masonry façade obtained from the FEMA 356 publication- Attend Concrete Lab Inspections conducted by PE’s of NYC Department of Buildings
