They worked closely with patients suffering from mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders, among others.As their supervisor, I was responsible for mentoring and guiding these interns, ensuring they developed the necessary clinical skills and professional competencies required in the field of psychiatry. We focused on evidence-based practices, patient-centered care, and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in mental health treatment.The program also included regular case discussions, seminars, and workshops to enhance their understanding of psychiatric theories and current practices.
