Senior Fauna Specialist, with over 15 years of professional experience in ecological research, specializing in wildlife conservation, research, planning, and monitoring. I have conducted fauna assessments in all of Jordan’s nature reserves, covering a wide variety of habitats from evergreen forests to hamada deserts. I led all bat assessments in Jordan's nature reserves as part of a national evaluation, with a specific focus on bat activities in the Dana Biosphere Reserve in Southern Jordan. As the field coordinator for all fauna studies at The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, I managed assessments of small mammals, large mammals, and reptiles, and also participated in limited bird surveys and assessments. I have led several surveys and studies across more than 60 sites spanning 12 provinces in Saudi Arabia.
