• Financial Reporting:Prepare and review the factory’s financial statements to ensure accuracy and conformity with both, German GAAP and Egyptian Accounting Standards.Develop and maintain internal controls over the financial reporting of the factory.Ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.Prepare the necessary disclosures needed to finalize the statutory financial statements.Prepare and review tax provisions and accruals of the factory while ensuring compliance with tax reporting requirements as well as maintaining tax balances on the general ledger.• Accounting Operations:Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and banking reconciliation.Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements.Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.Monitor and prepare the needed checkpoints to ensure that operations handled by subordinates are concluded as needed.Supervise and control the payables shared-service center operations.• Taxation Operations:Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, including income tax, withholding tax, stamp tax, sales tax, and property tax.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.Manage and coordinate tax audits and handle inquiries from tax authorities.Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.Identify and mitigate tax risks.Conduct tax research and analysis to support decision-making.• Team Management:Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.Perform periodical and annual appraisals with relative KPIs to foster a high-performing team with a collaborative spirit.Plan and guide personal and career development schemes for each individual subordinate.

• Monitoring fixed assets by ensuring that depreciation is being posted on a monthly basis• Maintaining fixed assets by ensuring that every asset class is posted in the corresponding GL• Actively working along with Dohler Gmbh group accounting and IT teams to handle the implementation and training of Egypt’s accounting employees for the SAP Concur system• Tracking AUC/PUC spendings then capitalizing them in a traceable way• Ensuring that assets are recorded according to International Financial and Reporting Standards• Monitoring each and every transaction recorded by the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Banking officers• Execution of inter-company reconciliation on a monthly basis• Analyzing the company expenses trend to identify fluctuations and out-of-norm movements and take the corrective actions accordingly • Handling end-of-month closings as per the company’s policy • Supervise the maintenance of internal controls designed to safeguard corporate assets and the integrity of its fiscal systems• Assisting in yearend financial audit with our external auditor
