• Research pipeline corrosion-related projects such as: corrosion under insulation (CUI),Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) & Hydrogen induced cracking (HIC).• Designing and executing pipeline simulation conditions using Solidworks, coordination with workshops, procurement with third party vendors, parts assembling to end-product systems.• Inspection & hands-on characterization of materials for corrosion under insulation in simulated pipeline conditions and other applications (PDP, XRD, SEM, EDS, Laser Confocal).• Applying protective coatings, insulation over simulated pipeline conditions. Comparing conventional and novel cathodic protection systems.• Supervising 4 different project and managing a team of graduate and Co-op students. Setting shifts schedule and responsibilities distribution. Creating project timeline, reviewing project activities and reports. Determining and managing the project budget.
