I am a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the non-surgical treatment of Prostate, Bladder, Kidney and Breast Cancers. I have a specialist interest in advanced radiotherapy techniques and radionuclide therapies.My specialist training was at Weston Park Cancer Centre in Sheffield and Christie Hospital in Manchester. I successfully became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2005. Following this, I completed a research MD degree at Sheffield and Leeds Cancer Centres. I led a research project investigating the effect of adjuvant breast cancer therapy on the musculoskeletal system. As an advocate of providing the most up to date treatments for my patients, I have been actively involved in clinical trials and research. I have also been the local principal investigator on several national clinical trials of both systemic anti-cancer therapy and external beam radiotherapy. I have previously been Lead Clinician and Strategic Lead for Radiotherapy at Weston Park Cancer Centre. I am currently Lead Clinician for Uro-Oncology at Weston Park Cancer Centre. I play an active role in education and training of Junior Doctors, Medical Students and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
