Responsible for directing all support and consultation of clients on institutional fundraising such as foundations as well as local, state, and federal grants. Managing the research and identification of relevant federal grant opportunities suitable for diverse projects as well as maintaining accurate records of grants, submission dates, and outcomes.

Responsible for managing all grants throughout the development process as well as for overseeing the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, & Learning (MEAL) for all ongoing projects. Developed grants proposals for both private (e.g. Sawiris Foundation for Social Development & Al-Anani Foundation) and governmental (e.g. U.S. Embassy) donors. Key accomplishments include:• Established a MEAL system for all projects utilizing a web-based collaborative platform for simplifying the MEAL process as well as follow-up by the senior team.• Developed grants proposals cumulatively worth over $2 million within the first year

Responsible for delivery of courses focusing on the role of technology in education within the Professional Educators Diploma including the courses of “Technology and Media for Learning for Adolescent Learners” and “Technology for STEAM”.

Assisting the University President in all major initiatives including: • Supported the development of the university strategic plan.• Led the response of the university for online and digital learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic.• Support the establishment of 2 new faculties through developing their bylaws, curricula, and obtaining all ministerial and other governmental approvals.In addition to this role, I was also the Principal Investigator (PI) of 2 (€1 million Erasmus+ funded projects for HU (MED2IAH and INVOLVE). Supported the development of multi-million Euro projects including the Horizon2020 funded HYDROUSA (€10 million), and SustInAfrica (€7.5 million), PRIMA funded BOOMERANG Project (€2.7 million), Erasmus+ funded SuReMap (€1 million) and others.

Managed and coordinated various projects for Heliopolis University including:• WEF-Nexus PhD School (Funded by BASF)• Children’s University (ASRT)• CCSAFS Project (Erasmus+)Wrote and assisted in writing grant proposals and concept notes for research grants of up to €10 Million from Horizon 2020, EuropeAid, PRIMA, GIZ, Erasmus +, among others. Managed the internationalization efforts of the university through Erasmus+ funded mobility programs for staff and students between HUSD and 5 European Universities.

Was the Egyptian local coordinator for the TEMPUS funded TriNex Project. Coordinated various European and Egyptian funded projects such as EduCamp II, GIEP, and other projects including the following tasks and responsibilities:• Coordinated project activities within the university and between partner institutions. • Worked on technical aspects of the projects (e.g. needs analysis and developing courses).• Handled all the financial reports and reported directly to the grant-holders.Wrote grant proposals and concept notes for research grants of up to €1 Million from Horizon 2020, EuropeAid, GIZ, Erasmus +, UNESCO, among others.

Was responsible for assisting the project manager of various European funded projects including RUCAS, EduCamp, & CLIMASP technical and administrative tasks. Taught courses on Statistics, Business Ethics, Marketing, and Business Math.

Worked on the GIZ funded EduCamp III programme as a consultant and helped develop the needs analysis, pilot study, and analyzed the data as well as worked on the dissemination and quality control of the project
