As an Associate HSE Supervisor at JESA, I was pivotal in managing and monitoring key safety indicators (KPIs) on fast-track construction projects. My responsibilities included:- KPI Management: Input, monitor, and update both leading and lagging indicators on the platforms, ensuring accurate and timely data for decision-making.- Visual Management: Prepared and maintained the visual management board, enhancing communication and clarity of safety performance.- Document Verification: Verified contractors' and subcontractors' documents before site entry, ensuring compliance with HSE standards. Reviewed and validated method statements and procedures to maintain safety and efficiency.- Risk Mitigation: Conducted workshops for high-risk tasks, collaborating with teams to reduce risks to as low as reasonably practicable. Assisted in the smooth implementation of method statements to maintain the fluidity of fast-track projects.- HSE Campaigns & Training: Launched HSE campaigns, conducted inductions, and provided training to workers to ensure a high level of safety awareness and competence.- HSE Program Implementation: Ensured the implementation of the JESA HSE program (SPA, SOR, PTW, etc.).- Reporting: Produced daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, delivering key insights and performance updates.- Compliance Monitoring: Monitored adherence to HSE standards, including client-specific requirements, and conducted scheduled field visits and inspections. Recommended and followed up on corrective actions.- Training & Competence: Monitored training and competency requirements, including licenses, certifications, and HSE inductions.- Incident Support: Provided technical and process support for incident investigations.- HSE Meetings: Led regular HSE meetings to keep the team aligned and informed on safety protocols and updates.
