  I managed a module, which is a sub-section of a wafer fabrication facility. Within this module I managed a team of 4 shift supervisors that reported to me directly and approximately 25 manufacturing specialists that reported to each shift supervisor; therefore, total direct and indirect reports totaled approximately 112 individuals. My roles and responsibilities included the following:1) Managing the onboarding process for new supervisors and manufacturing specialists.2) Cost center manager for supplies and raw materials. Forecasted yearly, quarterly, and monthly cost and ensured cost goals were met at these intervals. If actual cost exceeded forecast, formulated action plan to recover overage and to keep cost at or below goal for future periods.3) Managed staffing for the entire manufacturing group. Worked with contract staffing agency to maintain adequate manpower to meet productivity goals. Analyzed turnover rate and installed turnover improvement activities/actions to improve turnover.4) Tracked monthly safety training compliance training for the team. Appointed safety champion for the module to communicate safety issues/concerns impacting other TI sites and fanned in best practices.5) Tracked quality performance weekly. Worked with supervisors to understand fail modes, compile root cause analysis, and assigned actions and action owners.6) Analyze people productivity metrices to diagnose productivity detractors. Put actions in place to improve productivity.7) Managed the Logistics team. Team responsible for the procurement, maintenance, and replenishment of factory consumable items, factory furniture, factory support items, and the wafer substrates needed for the processing of semiconductor material. Conducted weekly meetings with team to ensure adequate levels of clean room garments, and material containers would be available to meet daily needs.8) Weekly 1 on 1 meetings with shift supervisors to assess team performance and take necessary actions.
