Working as Design Engineer in Electrical Department on both Greenfield & Brownfield Projects. Major responsibilities include:FEED & Detail Engineering:• Prepare FEED & detailed engineering documents and drawings related to Electrical scope including the preparation of the Design Basis, Single Line Diagrams, Protection and Control SLDs, Datasheets / Specifications LV/MV Switchgears, UPS, EDG, Power and Control Cables, Electrical Load Lists, Interconnection Wiring & Terminations Diagrams, Cable Schedules, MR for Heat Tracing System, Bill of Materials (BOM) / Material Take-Off (MTO), Bill of Quantities (BOQ).• Sizing, Calculations and Selections of major Electrical Equipment i.e. Transformer, Switchgear/MCC, EDG, Power and Control Cables, Lightning Calculations, Lux Level Calculations utilizing Dialux Software.• Prepare Power & Control Cable Routing Layouts, Cable Tray / Trench Layouts, Earthing Layouts, Lighting and Small Power Layouts, Lightning Layouts and Electrical Equipment Layouts (Substation & Control Rooms) etc. • Participate in Inter-Departmental meetings for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC’s) and coordinate with other engineering disciplines in the integration of data inputs.• Prepare MR / RFQs for Electrical Equipment (LV/MV Switchgear/MCC/Modifications, Transformer, Power and Control Cables, UPS Systems, Heat Tracing System, Fiber Optic Communication, Bulk Material),Carry-out Technical Bid Evaluation, Liaison with Vendors for Technical Clarifications as per Specifications/Datasheets and project standards, V-Doc Reviews to finalize Vendor Documents as per approved ITP/MRB and provide necessary technical information for procurement in compliance with Project specifications/datasheets and project standards.

I am responsible for maintaining and upkeeping of electrical equipment of Sulphuric acid plant, utilities and Single Super Phosphate plant which includes and not limited to:● 11 KV switchgears having Air Circuit breakers ● 0.9 MW Genset (CAT)● 2000KVA Transformers (10.5 KV/400V) (Siemens, Germany)● More than 200 Nos. 400V, induction motors ranging from fractional HP to 400 HP & their respective MCC panels & Switchgears.● 400V, 200 KW Emergency Diesel Generators. (Dawson & Keith).● 300 KVAr Capacitor Bank● Variable Frequency Drives (ABB & Danfoss).● Testing, Calibration of Electromechanical as well as Latest Numerical Protection Relays for the above electrical system.● Delivering lectures to electrical apprentices and Interns.● Arrange plant visits to students of different universities of Pakistan.Maintenance Skills:● I am acquainted with standard Maintenance procedures such as Preventive Maintenance, Proactive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance and Breakdown Maintenance. I can effectively employ these techniques in preparation of routine and annual turnarounds which are inclusive of job listing, job planning, material and manpower arrangement. Planning Skills:● Planning of routine Electrical maintenance and annual turnaround jobs which also includes manpower management and material allocation. ● Techno-commercial comparison of bids of various electrical equipment.● Inspection of Electrical Equipment & spares required for maintenance and project jobs.● Employ techniques to optimize efficiency of maintenance activities with minimal resource depletion.
