As a Test Engineer under the Cell Engineering team at Tesla Motors, I have played a critical roll in the field of cell testing, failure analysis, and new test development. Working closely with other team members, our efforts feed the continuous advancement and development of battery technologies, primarily focused in cell failure mitigations and improvements. As an individual, my contributions encompass: metrology, failure analysis, abuse test development and refinement, mechanical test process development.Responsibilities also include the continuous oversight and development of our cell abuse testing facility, including mechanical design of test equipment and fixtures.My contributions feed the new test developments with the ultimate goal of large scale application to production level sites.My contributions to our metrology include the comissionining and development of CT and X-Ray as non destructive means of failure analysis.Active RSO responsibility to ensure the safety of our site and its employees
