With a multidisciplinary background in academic training and professional experiences, Hossain Mohammed Omar Khayum has had exposure to a wide range of research methods and approaches. Alongside statistical analysis and modeling Mr. Omar has keen skills and interests in interpretative and observational approaches. His expertise is reflected in his regular publications and previous or ongoing involvements with the International Labour Organization (ILO), Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS), Brac University, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Universal Medical College Research Center (UMCRC), Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), etc. Mr. Omar’s personal interests lie in the historical and econo-political understanding of the development eras, and the quantitative understanding of related inferences.
