• Design, plan, organize, and coordinate activities encompassing the College’s Title III AANAPISI (Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution) Part A and Part F Grants.• Manage staff and a variety of student services and instructional operations tied to AANAPISI grant objectives• Facilitate AANAPISI grant collaborations in the following areas: student retention and completion services and objectives, data disaggregation and research improvement, high school and community outreach initiatives, staff and Faculty development, transfer services, counseling, and internship/work experience opportunities for students • Provide College/District leadership and direction in Federal Education Code and ensure compliance with District policies and applicable state and federal regulations. • Prepare and administer annual program budgets that support grant and related service activities• Assist with Equity/SSSP/BST Integrated Planning efforts in preparation for 2017-19 Campus Integrated Plan

• Provide comprehensive counseling services to caseload of 170 students• Develop and facilitate workshops aimed at helping students achieve academic success • Assist students to develop comprehensive student learning plans that include assessment, planning, goals/objectives, and intervention/retention strategies • Utilize career assessments (CSUMB FOCUS, MBTI) and other counseling tools to assist students to clarify values, interests, and goals • Promote graduate school exploration activities and plan in-state/out-of-state graduate school tours • Develop and deliver Peer Mentor Training for student staff • Work collaboratively across campus departments to improve retention rates for all students• Assist with the SSS federal grant writing process
