I led the development and execution of initiatives to support and empower the LGBT+ community in Los Cabos, focusing on the defense of human rights, reducing stigma related to HIV/AIDS, and promoting inclusion through educational programs and community events. I collaborated with municipal, state, and national organizations to enhance visibility and support for diverse groups. Additionally, I founded the first Diversity Community Center in Baja California Sur, Baja Queer Center.

The LGBT Residency took place in Mexico City from November 18 to 23, 2019, benefiting six young LGBT human rights defenders. The aim of the residency was to connect these young individuals with key actors in Mexican politics, human rights defenders, government institutions, spokespersons, and journalists, among others. This activity was the second phase of the Fortalécete LGBTI 2019 project, conducted in collaboration with Yaaj A.C., Transformando tu Vida A.C., and ASILEGAL.

I led the implementation of the No Hate Movement as part of my role in the International Agreements Office at Conapred. In coordination with the In-Person Education Office, I planned activities to promote, raise awareness, and strengthen human rights and counter hate speech, targeting civil society organizations and young activists across the country.I contributed to the advisory process for developing digital outreach content, and I coordinated the translation of the Yes We Can! manual—Acting Against Hate Speech Through Alternative and Counter Narratives, published by the Council of Europe.Additionally, I represented the Mexican government in international forums for the Council of Europe’s No Hate Speech Movement campaign coordination.
