Projects Undertaken:Dualization of Bid Bid – Sur Highway Sec1 Package 1B: This package covers but not limited to the 75km of Section 1. This stretch includes one major bypass (around 14km in length). Another minor bypass (around 6km in length). The number of interchanges in this package is 9. This package also includes service roads (around 50km in length), 1 underpass, 3 over passes and 200 multi cells box culverts.Storm water drainage is secured through a number of culverts along with channels.Duties & Responsibilities:Managing and supervising for structure formwork, rebar work, concrete work for pilling, precast beams, columns, retaining walls, roof slab, box culverts, underpass, pedestrian bridges, overhead passes, wing walls etc…Review and process shop drawings and submittalsAssist with coordination of subcontractors and suppliersMaintain project scheduleHelp with the creation and implementation of construction work plansConcrete form designMaintain job files and documentationAssist with implementation of safety policyLiaison with the client.Assist in preparation of construction and look-ahead programs in accordance with clause 14Ensure performance of the work in strict accordance with the plans and specificationsMaintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labour and equipment used, etc., and sign at the end of each dayCoordinate with the contractor’s site engineer in charge of the work on a daily basis to check on the proper execution of the workCoordinate with survey party chief to check the line and grade of completed work for conformance with the plans and specificationsReport to the resident engineer any failure of the contractor to conform to plans and specifications and to provide good workmanship and specifications.Observe site safety proceduresSupervise the application of tack coat & prime coat as well as asphalting works

Projects Undertaken:Al Duqm International Airport - Ppackage 2: Aairfield Iinfrastructure - This package comprises the construction of a single runway, 2 apron link taxiways, passenger aircraft apron together with associated airfield ground lighting, ground based navigation and meteorological aids, and storm water surface drainage facilities. Details of the construction work elements include, but are not limited to, the following primary activities:Mass earthworks cutting & filling and final trimming & compaction of earthworks platform and sub grade.4,020m long by 60m wide, International civil aviation organization (ICAO) Code F runway with 7.5m wide shoulders and turn pads at each end of the runway.2 No. taxiways linking the runway and aircraft parking apron; each 25m wide at straight sections with 17.5m wide shoulders with fillets at runway/taxiway and taxiway/taxiway junctions.Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure performance of the work in strict accordance with the plans and specificationsMaintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labour and equipment used, etc., and sign at the end of each dayCoordinate with the contractor’s site engineer in charge of the work on a daily basis to check on the proper execution of the workCoordinate with the materials technician and arrange for sampling and testing of satisfactorily completed work and quality assurance testing of suspect materialsReport to the resident engineer any failure of the contractor to conform to plans and specifications and to provide good workmanship and specifications.Maintain detailed records of work performed by the contractor on a day works basisInspect construction, including temporary works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
