Control Systems Engineer
Current- Design and engineer controls software (e.g: PLC, SCADA, databases, controllers, PID, safety program, state machines), and hardware (e.g.: 10-configuration, sensors, actuators, cabling, etc.).- Analyse fit-for-purpose (e.g.: functionality, stability etc.).- Write, stimulate and test robust control software with alarming and intuitive HMI.- Prepare documentation, Pl&D, control flows, manuals and (work) instructions.- Implementation, simulations, de-bugging, testing and commissioning.- Provide calibration and maintenance tools and methods.- Pro-actively act on experience performance of controls (malfunctions, controls issues inducing product quality issues, etc.).- Writing functional specifications for software/hardware requirements for purchased equipment.- Interaction with/management of suppliers, including attending off site factory acceptance tests (FAT) at suppliers when necessary.
