Leadership for the Gas Transmission organization that is responsible for the safe operation of approximately 2,972 miles of high pressure gas pipelines and eleven compressor stations totaling over 125,000 horsepower, plus an additional 9,300 horsepower for plant electric generation. Which covers a territory that spans from the California-Arizona border to the Pacific Ocean and from the California-Mexico border to Fresno County.

Overall accountability and responsibility from concept to completion for establishing a new, integrated Control Center which will incorporate both the existing Gas Control capabilities on the gas Transmission and Storage pipeline systems and expanded functionality to be installed on the Distribution pipeline operations. The GOCC will provide a comprehensive, real-time view of the overall gas system with enhanced remote monitoring and control capabilities.

Responsible for providing strategic direction and management of system integrity policies and programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes and industry best practices.

Have held a variety of management positions in gas engineering, gas transmission and system operations, pipeline integrity, and pipeline safety enhancement project (PSEP). Within these position I have managed and coordinated construction activities on large diameter pipeline and valve projects. Worked with financial consultants on the coordination and preparation of resource allocation supporting capital spending. Provided engineering support to operating groups conducting various system analysis, construction planning, measurement and regulation designs. Coordinated, designed, analyzed, managed projects and task involving new technologies in support of internal and external clients. Provided supervision to project managers, engineers, and Inspectors implementing capital projects; while also providing technical guidance, coaching, counseling, training, performance planning and management. Managed the operation of a transmission district which included high pressure pipelines with multiple stations in addition to maintaining service to multiple large customers.
