As a representative of STEMCELL Technologies, I provide scientific and product support to our customers in Houston and the surrounding areas. I support a wide variety of cell separation and immunology-related applications, as well as provide hands on troubleshooting and technical expertise.

I am the co-owner and operator of an innovative coffee catering company in the Raleigh-Durham Area of NC. We cater and all-inclusive cafe experience to any event. I enhanced my sales, marketing, and outreach skills as we expanded our business and made contact with prospective clients. In less than one year we increased the number of events per month by 500% and now have an established network of consistent clients like the DPAC (Durham Performing Arts Center), University Tower in Durham, NC, and the Chesterfield Building in downtown Durham, NC.

I researched novel TCR and CAR T therapies against various tumor models in vitro as well as invivo with a focus on combining immune cytokines with TCR and CAR T to enhance therapeuticefficacy. I perfected my execution of flow cytometry, ELISA, transfection, transduction, as well as PCR and restriction enzyme plasmid cloning assays. I also have extensive cell culture experience. During my time at this company, I also worked to increase efficiency by coming up with new assays that could take an assay from 5 hrs to just 2 hrs. I passed on my technical skills by helping to train other team members.

I worked as a scientific author and curator, helping to develop college-level courses. I created powerpoint presentations, assessment questions, and curated relevant content including videos, online quizzes, and websites for courses in anatomy and physiology, microbiology, chemistry, and environmental science. These courses are ultimately published by Macmillan and Intellus.I exercised my skills of quickly searching through primary and secondary literature to find relevant information to compile into content for a course.

Worked under the instruction of Dr. Melida Beck, PhD; investigating the effects of obesity on the immune system in response to infectious disease. Completed a master's thesis exploring the relationship between the use of Metformin and the adaptive immune response to the influenza vaccine.

Assisted professor Dr. Melinda Beck in teaching an introduction to nutrition course called Introduction to Food Studies by leading and facilitating weekly discussions on a broad array of food topics and related subjects. I was also responsible for grading assignments and following up with students about questions and concerns.

Promoted the boxing lifestyle (healthy, active living) while attracting community attendance to workouts and working to plan and market for the annual Boxing HomeShow.

The program lasted form Jan - Mar 2017, with classes led by Kenan-Flagler faculty which explore the economic, political, and cultural phenomena of the United Arab Emirates. This on-the-ground program in the UAE (from March 10-19, 2017) is an intense program that focuses on the application of classroom learning. The agenda consisted of business visits and/or cultural programming that ranges from 8-12 hours per day. Visited local and multinational companies, explored cultural sites to understand the social and religious history of the region and participated in classroom sessions led by local faculty.

Traveled with the team to a convention in Orlando, Florida and manned the booth,talked to potential clients about the services that the lab offers with the focus of signing newclients to the lab.Received training during the summer of 2013 on a Mass Spectrometer, carrying out Urine DrugConformation tests in an Andor Labs facility in Goldsboro, NC
