Using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and SQL Data Warehouse, I contributed to developing improvements to the Enterprise Data Management process of a consumer goods company with over $14 billion in revenue.I updated existing business practices that relied on USQL in favor of Azure Databricks. In doing so, the workstreams he worked on were updated to match the new company standards. This, along with updating the file types to parquet instead of TSV for the transform part of the process saw a significant decrease in processing time, saving time and money for the company.I also updated various workflows to use Azure Data Lake Gen2 instead of Azure Data Lake Gen1.
